Gudauri is the Caucasus’ most international resort (~120 km from Tbilisi): base ~1,990–2,200 m, top ~3,276–3,307 m (Sadzele). Rentals in New Gudauri by the slopes and in the village. Look for freeride in the Premium tier.

Gudauri
Gudauri sits on the Georgian Military Highway: ~120 km / 2–2.5 hours from Tbilisi (marshrutka from Didube, GoTrip transfer, taxi; 4×4 preferred in winter — Jvari Pass can close). Base ~1,990–2,200 m, Sadzele top ~3,276–3,307 m, vertical >1,200 m. Dozens of km of marked runs (sources cite ~35–70+ km) plus vast treeless freeride and heli-ski. Season typically late December to mid/late April; best snow February–March. New Gudauri is the ski-in/ski-out hub; the old village is quieter.

- New Gudauri or village?
- New Gudauri is slope-side by the Magic Carpet (Ski Gudauri, KANT, Fanatic, etc.). Village / Recreational Area is quieter and often cheaper if you stay there. Check distance-to-lift.
- How do I get from Tbilisi?
- ~120 km on the Military Highway, 2–2.5 h. Marshrutka from Didube, transfer or taxi; 4×4 in winter — Jvari Pass can close.
- Freeride gear?
- Look for the Freeride badge and Premium tier (e.g. Freeride Desk).
- Cancel / change dates?
- Cancel up to 48h (deposit minus 5% fee + transfer costs). Date changes via support if capacity allows.
- Pay in GEL?
- Yes — balance at the shop in GEL (card/cash).
